I have a friend who wants to try for a B2 Visa for tourism and medical purposes. Just wonder what are her chances of getting approved;

Lives on Mexican border town near Yuma, AZ.

Wants to visit for pleasure and seek medical attention for Epilepsy.

Mexican bank account with decent amount of funds.

One uncle in US but within' 10 hours from her.

She don't own property and just works at a department store.

I'm just wondering what are the chances of be qualified? Will not owning land hurt her?

Remember to include medical evidence, details of the treatment she will be having in the US, the need to go to the US and her ability to pay for it.

No one can tell you. What you posted is vague and generalized. Her chances depends on her application, her demeanor at the interview, who the interview is, etc. Essentially, there are too many factors to say.

How will this friend pay for the medical treatment? If there is a presumption of becoming a public charge or skipping out on medical bills, then they can forget it

Good luck
