K3 Package

I am putting together the app for the K-3 and have quite a few documents to include. Copies of our FB and Messenger convos are close to 400 pages alone. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to organize the submission so that everything stays together? Binder Clips, Binders, fasteners, etc?

Why are you doing the K3?

It's an obsolete visa, why not do the cr1?

I already submitted for a CR1 but it wasnt front loaded which was suggested by other members since I/my husband would be dealing with the Lagos Embassy. I'm hoping the CR1 gets processed faster but it doesn't hurt to send the K-3 with all of the information.

you are paying money for nothing by doing the K3. If it were myself, I would wait for NVC and send everything then with your NVC documentation. If you have already filed the petition for CR1 there is no guarantee that this information would be with the K3 when it gets to the consulate for the interview.

There is no charge to file the K-3 except postage to mail the petition and the cost of extra copies.

I would still wait for the NVC and send your proof then. That way it is guaranteed to be in the petition folder when you get the interview.

I have the same train of thought that you have, I also filed the K3 after the CR1. What harm could it do and the rate they are processing the CR1's at least you will have another chance. Anyways the way that I put it together was I bought a hard back cover and punced two holes in each side at the top and attached a slide clip. I included all the necessary documents with a table of contents and labeled dividers between each section of documents!

It will only hurt YOU, in terms of time and money, since the two packages will not get merged. The I-129F will be administratively closed and all your front loading will just get archived instead of sent to Lagos.

No need for a k3, I did this along with cr1 and uscis sent me a letter telling me they will be closing the k3 since I filed the cr1. No need to do all this. As far as the front load, save that for NVC not uscis. Give uscis what they asked for and leave the front load evidence for NVC. I didn't front load because honestly they are not going to look thru 400 pages of phone records ect. I sent phone records, a few of our wedding pictures, both of my flight iternaries when I went to nigeria twice, western union receipts on both ends (yes i sent my bank statement that shows my husband wired me money to help pay for the visa fees and bills) sample of poems my husband emailed me and a copy of my husband facebook page that is it. You as the petitioner aren't proving you love your nigerian spouse it is the opposite. The interviewer will be looking to see if your spouse loves you as the american citizen. All evidence should be pointing towards your husband proof of his love for his wife the american citizen. Everything I sent to Nvc was evidence that shows what my husband did for me and today he was approved after 2 questions was asked of him. I also wrote dates on all the pictures I submitted and wrote who was in the pictures. The intervewier never mention anything about the evidence because he already looked thru it and all questions was asked before my husband arrived today. The most important thing to do is PRAY PRAY PRAY, FAST FAST FAST PRAY SOME MORE AND PRAY AGAIN.
