Hello there fellow vjers:)

Just would like to clarify things up if do we still have to pay these terminal and travel tax at NAIA?

If I remember it correctly when I traveled to Japan the only fee we paid was the terminal fee of Php750.00

Is there any additional fees to that? Just want to make sure before I travel and to those who recently traveled your input is highly appreciated. Thank you so much Vjers

Check your ticket. If the TRAVEL TAX is not yet included in your airline fare, you have to pay for it at the airport, plus the TERMINAL FEE.

But if travel tax is already included in the amount you paid for the plane ticket, then no need to pay for it at the airport. You'll just have to pay for the Terminal Fee.

What airline are you flying in? Maybe you can double check with their customer care.

My husband and kids flew Manila to LAX via PAL. The ticket was booked and purchased online so the Philippine Travel Tax wasn't included in the amount we paid for the tickets. They paid the travel tax at the airport plus terminal fee.

That may not be the exit fee nor the terminal fee, that is most likely the normal taxes and fees that are charged. Exit fee should be listed. If ticket was bought outside the Philippines serious doubt the exit fee was collected.

Travel Fees:

Exit Fee for all those immigrating: 1620 Php (currently) Can be paid at the airport if its not included with the purchase of your airline ticket.

Airport Fee: 550 Php (currently)

Ya the Phils government bites ya all the way to the airplane.

hahaha That's right Hank  I dont know where thosse fees goes. Its ok to pay all these fee only if we see lot of improvements here in our Airport. The last time I traveled from Japan when me and mom brought a Japanese Doll they asked my mom to pay the tax for that since they wont let us out in the Airport. Even my hubby was so surprised paying all these fee, he was like "I traveled a lot in any country but didnt had to pay terminal fees" and I just laugh at him haha..

yeah true!before you can leave Philippines goverment will tear your pocket out!! and also we need to pay 650 for a cfo haha... i didnt know any sticker that cost a thousand.. to bad for us!

Yes for CFO thing! Very True! When I had my CFO I thought only Php400 is the only fee but when I get there, I have to pay the seminar cost Php250 and the travel(useless)kit of Php100 and the Php400 so total I paid last year was Php750 and glad had my sticker without any problem. I wonder where all these fees goes. This is something that goverment should focus. Collecting all these bummer fees. Its ok to pay all these as long as we all see any improvement in our country :bonk:
