ey everyone ,

after a long long information we finally are about to send the package we tripple checked everything !

but I have a few questions

since u guys know we both live in belgium , and she is an american because of her father ..

so do we have to send it through USPS ?? because this doesn't exist here in belgium ..

but the question is, USPS what is their job ? they just make sure the package is there right? it's not that the USCIS communicates through the tracking nr right? like if U receive an rfe is that through the track and trace number ?

because if thats not the case I can send the package with belgian post(and the adress stays the same right? dallas texas) ..

second question is there is a question in the I 129f that asks us an adress where we intend to live I wrote down TO BE DETERMINED since we both live in Belgium ??? after this approval( I hope) we will go and see for a house ? would that be a problem or not?

third question is : what if I dont attach a completed G-1145 form ? how will I receive a RFE

How important is this G-1145 ??

THANX everyone! these are the last questions! and after this I will send the package !!! verry excited

You have to list a US address to which they can send the NOA notices and any RFEs.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

In part A, question 2. That is your US address being asked for.

If you don't give USCIS your US address I'm fairly sure that the petition will be rejected because they can't communicate with you. They only send hardcopies to the US address, not one overseas.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

Is there a phone number of the USCIS ( i sent it to LEwisville TX) so I can call and maybe I can give a adress of one of the family members in LIVING IN usa ?? please help

The USCIS phone number is 1-800-375-5283. However, what you're seeking to do won't be an option. It should have been included in the petition package.

You will be. Learn how to open a US Post Office Box address and then set up auto overseas forwarding. I'm sure, for the right fee, this can be arranged.

You don't know anyone in the US?

Could they not have done direct consular filing? It looks like its available. Maybe Im wrong. I met a couple who had similar situation in the phil and did CR1 with DCF . They were able to meet the requirements for residency in Phil. They used their family in the USA and had there family write up a lease to prove they had a residence to stay in USA. Im sorry that im not familar with Belgium Consulate and maybe someone can verify if its possible as a option.

This is untrue. My partner and I both live in the UK and received our NOA1 to our UK address earlier this week. You only need a US address for the field that asks where the beneficiary will be living upon relocation (in our case, we listed a friends address who we're likely to stop with for a few days when we return, who is aware of our visa application process etc. - this is based on our lawyer's recommendation).
