Hmmm, I read your post about 10 times, and it made hardly any sense.... but let me try my best to answer for you.

What I gathered do you mean does the beneficiary have their interview from the country they filed from, or the country they legally reside in?

If that is true then the interview will take place at the US embassy where the beneficiary legally resides (ie the country where the beneficiary is a citizen), from what I can gather for Kenya this will be in Nairobi.

I hope this is what you were asking for, feel free to ask again if I completely misunderstood the question. good.gifgood.gif

Best of luck to you on your visa journey.

As long as the beneficiary is residing "legally" in a country, then he can request to take the interview there (if they are currently taking K1 interviews there).

If the new country that the beneficiary wants to take the interview from is different from the one that was stated on the I-129F then there are process to transfer the petition to the new location.

Hey Shessa, you will have to take your interview in Kenya, your country of birth.

Are you here in the US?? If yes, what visa did you come here on a student visa??
