NOA2 recieved

Hello all,

I just received my hard copy of NOA2. *dances*

I would like to make sure that I have a general understand of the next steps that will happen in K1 process.

First I need to call the NVC and see if they have received my petition package and get my case number

Next they will send the package to the embassy in Guangzhou via DHL.

I will then send my financial documents along with an exact copy of the K1 petition package I originality sent to the Dallas Locked box which was forward to the VSC.

After about 5-7 days I assume my fiance will call the embassy in Guangzhou to confirm they have received the package.

The embassy will then send my fiance Package 3 which will contain various documents some of which she will need to fill out and send back to the embassy and some of which she will need to bring to the interview

Next she will get package 4 which will again include various documents along with times to schedule the medical review, document intake, and personal interview.

She then will go to the medical review, document intake day and personal interview. After this is done and everything goes well she will give the embassy consular her passport and they will stamp it with the VISA and send it back to her house in about 7-10 days time.

Please let me know what or if I am missing any important steps. Keep in mind that I am just trying to get a general outline of what happens next. I realize we need a police report and Birth Certificate and supporting evidence for bona fide relation ship etc.

Am I missing any important steps? Any important advice you can provide me with procedures specific to the Guangzhou embassy? Thank you for the advice in advanced =) It is much appreciated

Congratsulations!!!

We are just ahead of you and the process has been going so fast we did not even have time to do the shortcut. It seems they are trying to do everything via the computer now. My fiance did get the P3 in the mail but they sent the P4 and interview via an email. You print it off and download the P4 forms off the Embassy website. Hope this helps a bit.

Otherwise the steps you have listed are the same as what I think is how it works!
