I-130 Question 15

Hello all!

I am filling out the I-130 now and am on question 15 on the beneficiary's side. Right now the beneficiary has two jobs. Should I write "see attached" and include the two jobs or write both jobs with just the city that they are located in and not the full address?

I am assuming that this could be an interview question so we should probably write both jobs to avoid them thinking we are lying...if so, what format should I use in the attached paper?

Thanks!!!

Hi there, I can relate to your question. My fiance also has 2 jobs (full-time and part-time) and he also encountered that question in filling out the I-134. Until now we are also confused so he just leave it blank. But I told him, that I think he should write see attached on that part and write both 2 jobs with their addresses to be safe. Any insights VJ members? Thanks.

That's the correct thing to do. Use a stapler to make it a part of the I-130. Paperclip may come loose and don't need to sign that page.

Petitioner LPR upgraded to USC June 22, 2012
August 22, 2012: case complete
October 18, 2012: Interview (APPROVED)
October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)

I think that's the best thing we should do. We will do the same. Write see attached and clip a separate paper to be safe. :) Message me if you hear other insights from other VJ members ok? thanks. I've actually read once here on VJ, they said that as long as the petitioner's full-time job is above the poverty line then it's fine to just write his full-time job. No need to write the part-time job. Well for me, I think I need to write them both on a separate sheet and attach it to the form. What do you think? :)

you need to show work you had for the last 5 years, date started to date ended. list all work, name of employers and addresses even part time. I do not think this will be an interview question unless it is on the AOS and seeing the beneficiary is the one who is interviewed it is easier to remember the truth.

Also on your cover letter list line 15 see supplement and continue all employments if their is not enough room on the I-130.

Also do not staple things strong paperclips are fine since you hopefully will be using a folder that secures all documents.

Remember the people that have to review all the thousands of applications do not like to have to separate things that are stapled. Good Luck

Sweetie811...I think it is the most clear way of doing it. I don't want to give anyone a reason for delays in this process. I agree with the paperclip advice charlesandmerle. I have read a lot about not using staples.

Thanks everyone. Helpful as always.
