Hello all,

Very excited today, me and my fiancee just got into the USA and everything is well! Upon our arrival at the port of entry (chicago) we handed over our K1 visa package to the officer. He stamped some things and took the package and we moved along. My question now is, what happens to this package and where do I begin now, I am in Minnesota and the officer said he will send the package to Minneapolis but I didn't know there was a USCIS office here.... What do I do from here.

Thanks!!!!!

In about 10-14 days, head over to the SSA and apply for her SSN: http://www.visajourney.com/content/ssn

Get your license and get married whenever you had planned to within the 90 days of her entry. Add her to your banking/insurance accounts and things of that nature.

File for AOS: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos
