Your timeline isn't showing up in your signature. Where is your local office? Ours is Los Angeles, unfortunately. As far as I know our case is still where we sent it (Chicago). We haven't heard a peep since biometrics on Oct 30th. We have tickets booked to fly to Denmark for the holidays on Dec 14th and it's anyone's guess whether or not my husband will get his EAD/AP by then. I'm praying and crossing fingers that he does!!!

@ATL, wanted to go London so kid coukd meet grandma but hands & legs are tied right now 2. makes me so sad for them and hubby:((

You need to bring the hard copy biometrics letter you received and government issued photo identification. You will not have an interview on the day of your biometrics, you will only have your finger prints and photo taken. It's really fast.

What visa is your husband adjusting from? What did they ask for in the RFE?

Yea, we're all at the mercy of USCIS. My husband told his family that it's possible we might not know up until the day we're supposed to leave whether or not we'll be going. If he doesn't have the AP IN HAND on the 14th, we're not going anywhere. Not worth taking any chances.

From what I've read it seems as though the California offices in general are the slowest. You'll probably get an interview before us, I would imagine. Nice to know there's someone else who has a similar timeline. :)

Husband's AOS Journey from VWP Entry

My hubby is the US/British citizen...I'm the beneficiary...we met here, married 4 yrs and 2 kids. He got his b4 me (I was a F1 student)so I'm the one holding things up you may say for traveling. Hence why I am "sorry for them". The RFE was for visa entry or 1-94. I sent in a copy of both so that they would not send and ask for either. Could not understand since they did approve the 1-130 months b4. Anyways thats where we are at, will just buy tickets when we hear word:((. Hope things work out faster for you since you have already gotten your tickets..keeping my fingers crossed for you:))

Wow! Your interview notice came so quickly! My husband completed his biometrics on 10/30 and we haven't heard a peep, one of the many downfalls of living in Los Angeles, I suppose... Everything here is slower!

Same here... still not online on my case status. Biometrics was almost four weeks ago. You'd think for how much everyone pays for AOS, they'd invest some of that into data entry.

*le annoyed*
