Do I sign the DS-230?

Hello everyone! I would really appreciate help with this question. The NVC asked for me to send the affidavit of support papers and the DS-230 with its supporting documents to them in the States, I live abroad in Ecuador and I'm working on the immigrant visa for my Ecuadorian husband. At the end of the DS-230 there's a place to sign, but it says in bold letters not to sign it unless told to under oath in the consulate. So... this may be an obvious question, but do I send it to the NVC without a signature? Will they ask my husband to sign it at the interview? I just want to be 100% sure so that I don't have to send it in again later. My mom says just to sign it but I don't know. Anyway, thanks for your time.

The DS-230 is in two parts. Part 1 you fill out and sign and part 2 you fill out and DO NOT SIGN. That will be signed in front of the CO at interview by your husband. But you do send both part 1 and 2 with your IV BILL packet to NVC..
