Hi all, I recently became a U.S. citizen and would like to bring my sister, her hubby and their 17-year-old daughter here on immigrant visa. How do I go about it? How much does it cost? Please advice. Thanks a million.

File Form I-130. Wait 11-12 years. Sister and husband will get immigrant visas. Their daughter will age out and not qualify for a visa. It will take another 8 years for them to petition her during which she cannot marry. Marriage would void the petition.

Long journey. My father filed for my brother in 2000. My brother immigrated here in 2010. He left two adult children behind. He filed for them and hope they will get visas in 2018. So, 18 years to bring the children.

If you are Gujrati, Punjabi, Sindhi, or Telugu then understand that RED FLAGS are already there for you. :)

teddy2000.... I don't thing "hsn" is judgemental.

He/She is only stating the facts, I am Punjabi too... I can say for sure that he is correct about RED FLAGS.

It looks like we have to send it extra documents to prove our relationships.

Good luck with your journey.
