Go figure......Had a four hour tax audit at 1 - 5 pm on Tuesday October 2, 2012 (Urrrrrr) at the 3rd Floor of the Federal Building in Laguna Niguel, CA. Yes the building that houses the CSC.

I got their about noon and after security check in I wandered through the halls of the 2nd floor, meet many average working people in the halls and on the stairs and elevator with their department name tags proudly displayed on their chest, pleasant enough yes I can say even friendly to this stranger (me) as I peered into the vast work areas of the CSC.

The complete second floor is dedicated to the CSC, I learned this from my IRS tax auditor as we spent 4 hours together in his office located on the 3rd floor directly above the CSC, my IRS guy has spent 17 years at this building and I told him of my connection to the CSC, for him it was just another day at the office but for me, as I peered into the CSC work areas and cubicles I could not help but think that one year prior my file too sat rested in one of those baskets for 5 months.

Look at my time line, my fiancee is here with me and we plan on a simple marriage ceremony in about one week. It has been a time of adjustment for her and her son, a time to meet family and friends, a time to understand how different our cultures and ways are, a time to develop trust and appreciation for each other, a time to make plans about our future life together.

Blessings to all that follow!

Interesting post, congrats on getting through this part of the process!!!kicking.gif

I would just love to see VSC as well as CSC in person.. it kind of brings it all full circle for you right? Before I knew VSC didn't have a Facebook page, I searched for it and in turn i saw some of the VSC workers and can't help but think this might be the person that approves or RFE's me... seems silly but you just can't help but wonder! whistling.gif
