I posted mine in on the exact same date as you, it arrived to them on the 29th (was tracked using usps) and it was signed for by the NVC at 11am on Monday, yet it still hasnt been registered into their system yet :(

I'm only the beneficiary so I'm unable to call for information on our case 'apparently' but if you're the petitioner, my advice would be to keep phoning them

That is completely FALSE. The beneficiary most definitely can call! I was the beneficiary and the ONLY one to call NVC during our process. My husband, the petitioner, NEVER called them.

You need to call and verify. They will say if its been received thn reviewed or accepted. It's usually a 7 to 14 day process depends. So call them. And keep eyes on email.

:( I based this on the fact that I called the NVC about 6 weeks ago for the first time and the curt lady I spoke with said she couldn't discuss anything with me and suggested ney insisted my husband phone for the information

It was the reason I put APPARENTLY in quotations. I guess I stand corrected. Apologies everyone.

Yeah, there's some stupid operators out there that think just because you're not the petitioner (US citizen), you're not allowed to call. But you most certainly can! Your name is on the forms, so you're most certainly able to call and inquire about YOUR status. If you get an operator like that again, just hang up and call again.

Thankfully, I never had an issue with any operators saying I wasn't allowed to inquire about the status of my case.

And remember, it's not YOUR fault. The operator mis-informed you. It happens a lot with various issues at NVC.
