Query regarding US work visa

Hello All,

I have a query regarding US visa.

I have been to US for my masters and stayed there from 2006 to 2010.

After completion of my masters with sufficient practical training i

came back to India in 2010. While comming back from US i have not

closed all my credit cards and bank accounts and have not paid some

credit card bills. Do the above things will effect to my business

visa??...do the visa officer will check my history through my SSN

Social Security Number)... I will be attending for the business visa

interview soon.

It won't have an impact on your visa.

But any past due bills will be here waiting for you and your credit score will be trashed.

no, we do not have debtors prison. If you walked away from your bills then when you return to the US they will be waiting for you and it will be extremely difficult to get any line of credit or a business loan or a car loan or a home loan
