I worked in Saudi Arabia for 2 years and I am about to go for my interview for my K1 Visa. I'm living here in Philippines and I know that one of the requirements is a police clearance. I have learned that you have to really go there in person and ask for the police clearance. There's no way I can come back to Saudi Arabia since I already finished my contract. Do I still need to present a police clearance on the day of my interview?? what if I can't provide one???

From past posts on this issue, it appears they waive the police cert because it is impossible to get. If you search, you should be able to find some others in this situation. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

According to this link from the US embassy Manila blog, you don't need one for Saudi Arabia.

Distance never separates two hearts that really care, for our memories span the miles and in seconds we are there. But whenever I start feeling sad, because I miss you, I remind myself how lucky I am to have someone so special to miss .i love you baby"

My wife worked in Indonesia, and Indonesia required her to go in person to get the clearance. USEM told me I had to figure out on my own how to get it, they couldnt help me. So I contacted the Indonesian consulate in the Philippines, and they got it for her. You are lucky if you aren't required to get it in Saudi Arabia, because it would have been difficult enough for my wife to go back to Indonesia to get hers where it IS required.
