getting a military id card?

how did you get your military id card without having a SSN or a us ID or anything like that?

my husband told me all i needed was my mexican passport, mexican id card, tax payer card, our marriage certificate and a SJA? paper he got from the DEERS office i believe he wont be with me when i get it so im kinda nervous.

All you need is your Passport with a valid visa and marriage certificate. That is what they needed for my wife to get her ID card. Some MPS sections are more lax than others, but you dont need a SSN to get a military ID.

If you don't have a SSN, you have to renew your military depend card every few months. I believe it's around 3. You only need your passport with a valid visa & marriage certificate. No tax cards or anything and he has to Be with you and sign some forms when you get registered in DEERS.

im already enrolled into DEERS all i need to do is go get my id and i dont have a visa yet

I don't understand. When I enrolled in DEERS, the same place gave me immediately a ID card. Why didn't you get one? Also, we are talking about a visa, like visitors visa (that proves that you aren't in the US illegal!)

exactly you should have gotten the ID card the same day you enrolled into DEERS.

If you are enrolled into DEERS, bring all those papers, bring your passport and your marriage certificate. You won't need a SSN, they will issue a temporary one until you get your permanent number. The SSN is no longer written on the ID card though, so they might not even bother with that. But as soon as you get your SSN, you have to go on again to update that info in the system.
