Anybody who got their cases completed this September?

Hi guys! Since NVC already started giving out interviews dates, I just wanna ask here in VJ who got there case completed in NVC this September and if you have your interview dates already? And how many days did it took for you to have your cases completed? Most esp those who are under CR1 and from the Philippines. Our papers were in NVC since last Tuesday but we haven;t heard anything yet aside from the 20days usual answer.Thanks friends! Your replies are greatly appreciated!

Hi, my AOS and packet IV (2 different packets) were delivered at NVC on 4th Sep around 10.30am. The AOS packet got reviewed and accepted on 11th Sep; howevder, I am still waiting for packet IV to get reviewed. I called on Friday at late night (after the working hours) but still the same 20 working days standard reply. Then I came to know that one of the VJ member from India (mumbai consulate, same like mine), his packet IV was delivered on 6th Sep and his case got completed on 14th Sep. I was so upset to know that my packet was delivered 2 days before still his case got completed and I am still waiting.

I assume the department that reviews packet IV were busy in scheduling interviews for others. I hope to hear some good news on Monday when I call NVC again. We both are sailing in the same boat. Hope for the best and Good luck!!

Oh I'm sorry to hear that.. Yeah just think positive. We might be both hearing the good news this week.. Our papers got to NVC Sept. 11 at 10:59am. Yet when we called them, they gave us the standard answer, as usual, 2- business days. We're hoping to get our case completed this week and hoping to still make it on October for interview.

My papers were recived at NVC on 9/7 and got case complete 9/14, now waitinf for the interview date.

I know exactly how you feel. I assume cases are assigned to adjucators and some work faster than others. It probably depends on your case' complexity as well. I know mine is complex. My mother's name on my birth certificate doesn't match her birth certificate and she'd been outside Philippines for more than a year so I had to send additional documents proving that she's my mother. My K-1 visa, however is very straighforward. My husband(fiance) at the time have both never been married and met through work. I didn't have a child before I married him. My case finished faster than most people who's been divorced, annulled, bringing kids with them, met through a dating site. I think it's because they have to go through more documents. Well, I pray for both of us that you get your case completed next week.

We sent our papers thru fedex and it says on there website that are papers were delivered in NVC on Sept. 11.Waiting for a good news tomorrow. We are really praying to still make it on October interview..
