Just to help prepare your mind....I doubt that you will make the cut-off.

Prepare for October scheduling....for November interview.

Take a deep breath and relax. This time last month, i just completed my case, but i still did not get a september interview. At this rate, you might be down for November.

Thank you, I will take a november interview, just in time for thanksgiving for my husband in usa. Such a long process this is. Sent the i130 in october and that took 5 months to be approved. At the end it will be worth it. As long as he is here before our wedding anniversary which is in april.

Well she was wrong in the fact that our case doesn't get sent to embassy until case complete. She probably thought it was a K1 because she saw the I-129F. But once your IV BILL package is accepted. Thats about 1 week after they receive. Than a Case Complete maybe a few days to a week. I gather your AOS package is sent and accepted?

Once Case is Complete you sit. Like all these couples here for the interview assignment. Lagos like many other Embassies are about 2 to 3 months wait at times. But this is busy season for interviews. And CR1/IR1 get scheduled last.

That is what I meant to say, the lady said once they look over the last package along wih the ds 230, they will close the case and send the package to lagos for the interview. I see it will probable be nov interview unless God intervene and make it happen in October. As long as my hubbie is here by Christmas, I will be happy.

I feel that IR1/CR1 visas should be scheduled first. I know it might seem selfish but we MARRIED ALREADY shouldn't that take president over k1 visa applicants. Know i might catch flack for the comment but like I said thats just how I feel!

Well looks like we are both in same stage. You are brave to have the documents sent by postal mail. I too am waiting on husbands IV BILL Packet.

Interesting that the operator would elect September 17th. I wounder is that their imaginary cut off interview queue date for the next month. Hmmm. I so wish we could be like K1 filers and let the embassy just slot us in. Seems there's a BIG disconnect with embassy and NVC with our cases. Well wait we most.

Here's to packages accepted and Case Close soonest
