Oath Ceremony was going to start at 02.00pm so me and my wife were there at 01.15pm. We stayed in the car and watching people trying to go inside but the security guy ask them they are too early and cant make procession near the entry gate so they were dispersed. At 01.30pm the security guy ask the people to make two ques, one who came for oath ceremony and the family members in other que. We were asked to take out oath ceremony appointment letter and green card. No food was allowed, cell phone were allowed but turn off, camera were allowed to take pictures.

There were total 58 people for oath ceremony. First we were allowed to enter with appointment letter and green card in hand, after checking and screening we enter the room where two ladies were there one looking at our letter and green card and then second lady took our green card and letter and assigned us a seat number. First 5 rows for those for the oath and rest behind, for the family members. After everybody were seated, one of the lady congrajulate us for coming here to be a US Citizen and told the importance of being US Citizen. National anthem of USA was played and then movie were shown from early times alot of people from diverse nation came for immigration, it was worth to watch.

They distribute the vote registration form for the state of Tennessee. At last we were asked to stand and take the oath, after which President Obama speech was shown to congratulate all new US Citizens, finally they gave us the naturalization certificate and during the event from national anthem till distribution of naturalization certificate families were allowed to take pictures or video.

Most important information they told us that our naturalization certificate is very important to us, we were asked to check our naturalized certificate that all the information is correct and if its incorrect they should tell the immigration officer now, secondly the certificate should be protected and secured at a very safe place if it get lost the minimum time to get another once is 8 month to one year and the fees is high too i dont remember how much, precisely five hundred something dollars.

The whole event was awesome and nice. I am proud to become a US Citizen. God bless us all and GOD bless America. Now its time to apply for USA Passport.
