Hello,

I am adjusting status from K1, filed I-485 & I765. Now, reading the official USCIS blog, it states the timeline for I-485 currently pending at NBC is determined by the local USCIS field office. For northern Virginia, that would be the one located in Fairfax,VA called Washington Field Office. Are there people who recently concluded their I-485, because I couldn't find any timeline for this office.

I am asking this because my I-485 has been in 'Acceptance' phase for about 2 months. I know that this is not long, but just wanted to compare with similar cases (if similarities are even possible)

My timeline

July 13, 2012 - mailed AOS package (from K1) I485 & EAD I765

July 17, 2012 - NOA received for both I485/I765

July 20, 2012 - received Biometrics appointment letter

August 9, 2012 - Biometrics taken at ASC Alexandria,VA

Sept 5, 2012 - EAD approved

Sept 10, 2012 - EAD card production ordered

Sept 11, 2012 EAD card picked up by USPS

I am from Virginia. From what it looks You are in for a long wait THATS if your case gets transferred to California which will most likely be your case since you are adjusting from a K-1 Visa. My NOA date was March 29, 2012. Its been almost 6 months and still haven`t heard a word.

We live in Northern Virginia. We submitted early December 2011, were transferred to CSC late December 2011, and just received an RFE dated September 4th, 2012. I asked Senator Webb's office to inquire in the middle of August and we were told the case was with an officer and would be adjudicated within 45 days. The RFE was for a missing tetanus shot - the vaccine was marked unavailable at the time time my husband underwent his medical.
