My wife finally had her interview on Tuesday in Montreal after 7 months of waiting and frustrations!.....Everything went so very smoothly thanks to all the help and advice we received here on Visajourney!.....A very big "special" thank you goes to Saylin for guiding us with her Wiki and her replies to our questions!

I will post a review of the interview in the Montreal consulate section and Darquise and I would like to wish you all a fast and successful journey through the immigration process!

02-08-12 NOA1 hardcopy received in mail
05-22-12 I-130 Approved
06-14-12 Received at NVC
06-20-12 Case number assigned
06-21-12 Optin email accepted
06-21-12 DS-261 completed
06-22-12 Paid AOS fee
06-25-12 AOS marked PAID
06-25-12 Emailed I-864 package
06-28-12 DS-261 (Choice of Agent) accepted
06-29-12 I-864 accepted
07-03-12 Paid IV fee
07-06-12 IV fee marked PAID
07-06-12 Submitted DS-260 online and emailed supporting documents
07-13-12 Received "CASE COMPLETE" email
08-06-12 Received email from NVC with INTERVIEW date (09-04-12)
09-04-12 Interview = VISA APPROVED

09-07-12 Visa received

09-10-12 POE US-Canadian border at Champlain, NY

06-12-14 Mailed I-751 to Vermont SC for AOS

06-23-14 Received NOA1 dated 06-17-14

12-13-14 Case transferred to CA SC

07-24-15 Interview at local USCIS office and APPROVED
