Hi everybody. Is the timeline application the same thing that appears at the bottom of some users's posts, as a sort of signature like for example:

"mm/dd/yyyy: I-130 Sent

mm/dd/yyyy: NOA1 email notification received.

mm/dd/yyyy: NOA2 email notification received."

And if not, how do I create one like the above to display at the bottom of my posts?

And they are two different things...There is a timeline link to the left that you can only fill in specific fields for.. You have more freedom with the one in your signature which you decide what to include. I would suggest both as it helps in getting your questions answered.

Find a timeline signature you like of someone else's and cut and paste - then just change the dates to the match your own
