Hi Greetings to all VJ ers. My wife is in united states for past 5 months in k1 visa. We got married within 90 days period. Now we are going for her AOS. We are confused if we have to open a joint bank account and life insurance plan before we submit our application for AOS. Do we have to send the copy of bank account and insurance plan along with our application? or is it necessary at this time? I am grateful to all of you vj members in advance and waiting for your response.

thanks again

Congratulations on your wedding :) If you open a joint bank account then you will be able to write the check for AOS with your personal check with both names on it. That shows you have the joint account. It's not required to include anything showing joint accounts those items are needed if you have an interview. Read over this guide well http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

The Best of luck to you :)
