Dear expert people of N-400 Application for Naturalization Part 6 , (B) That says >>>>> Where you have worked for the last 5 years. The date format is mm/dd/yy.During last 5 years , I worked for more than 4 places , In one or two locations, I just worked for a month. I do not know exact day when I started the job and when I left the job , however, I do remember Exact month of working and then leaving. What should I do.?? My QUESTION IS SHOULD I WRITE ONLY (MM/YY ie month/year) instead of (mm/dd/yy i.e month/day/year ). I would appreciated if expert people answer my question. Please do me a favor. I am waiting.....................................

For example Job 1 08/2010 to 12/2010

Job 2 05/2010 to 06/2010

Job 3 03/2010 to 04/2010

Job 4 03/2005 to 07/2008

I remember month and years but not the days, and I do not have any documentation handy to see any exact day . One job location had been closed so can not get the exact day.

I used approximate dates for mine and there was no problem. When I did not know the day I just added 01 for first of the month. I am pretty sure none of the employers were contacted. I think they're looking for any employers that would be in some way 'sensitive' e.g. political organizations, government offices, etc. If you have any of those I would strive for correct dates, else don't worry.

Nothing to worry about, it happens.

You have two ways to deal with that,

1: put an approximate dates as suggested (to the best of your knewledge)--------------------- and you wana make sure to let the officer know about that,

2: just put mm/yyyy and next to it state you are not sure about the exact days,

In both, I would let the officer know anyway, its not a big deal at all, you should be fine.

Good luck

I think this happens to all of up, I just put 01 for the first day and 30 for the last.

When I was going to explain it to the adjudicatior during the interview he brushed it off, didn't really care. Best to follow the format suggested on the table even if you have to estimate the days.

Good Luck.
