Hi,

I was under the impression that NVC sends out a packet with the forms they want you to fill in for their work. They sent/emailed us the choice of agent form and the invoice for the i-864 fee. We sent in the choice of agent and payed the fee about 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I emailed them and asked if they had received what we mailed and what not. This morning I got the invoice for the visa processing. No answer to the email though.

Do we wait for them to actually send something or do we just start to send in all the paperwork? We pretty much have it put together allready but have been waiting to hear from them.

So in short - do they send out the forms or are we supposed to just send them in?

Planning to do both - I emailed the DS3032 as soon as I found out I had a case number and am checking the payment portal - https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/Invoice.aspx?node=Invoice - to see when I get invoiced. like many others once I pay it and the portal says it is paid I will print out the cover sheets and send the paperwork.

Im overseas so snail mail takes a while so I just collect what I get in the mail as souvenirs.

Izola,

You dont have to wait for them to send you the paperwork. As long as it shows paid you can go ahead and be proactive and send it in.. Again as long as it shows paid you need to print out the so that you have the Barcode and mail your paperwork in!!

Print out what? The receipt? And just send that with?

WOW you got some reading to do. You could have een done. You have a AOS (Affidavit of support) packet and a IV BILL packet you say you have them both put together. Go back to the payment portal on the receipts page it has "Print Document Coversheet" This is the barcoded sheet that goes on top of your packet There's one for AOS and one for IV Bill. Her's the Guide just to get you acquanted. But you are almost done if you have your packets already together to send in.

Related question - I don´t have an invoice yet, but I am wondering when I do and I pay it....will I be able to pay one day and return another to print it? My printer doesn´t do barcodes...but I would like to make the payment from a home computer not a public one.

You will be able to print out whenever you want. And your printer I would think should print just fine.

Just to add, you probably wouldn't be able to print right away if you wanted to as you need to wait until it updates as PAID (seems to take 2-3 days in the cases I have seen).

When you pay there will be an option to send the cover sheet to multiple email addresses so you can print it out later.

You can also log in as many times as you want after you pay and the same information and options will still be there.
