Bonafide marriage

Hi VJ members !

i am still preparing my i130 packet and i am at the section for a bonafide marriage.

Below is a listing of items i have but need to see whether an affidavit is necessary.

1- Marriage Cert

2-credit card screen shot showing my name and spouse name

3-reference letter from bank showing joint ownership

4-picstures - will include few but not alot - pictures in different timeline of our lives, engagement, marriage, honeymoon, life after marriage.

5- skype screen shots showing the time we skyped to communicate with each other - i maintained a screen shot log/document with the times we talked. i probably include a variety pack of those shots

6-honeymoon receipts and itineraries - i kept boarding passes, hotel invoices.

7-receipt of wedding rings

8- birthday/holiday cards written

9 boarding pass/itineraries for her visit (in US after we got married).

10- emails over the past year and half and past years ( showing that we've known each other from 2005)

so do you guys think i have enough from the above ( i haven't brained storm to see what all is left in my possession) or should i add 2-3 affidavits from my pastor who attended my wedding over seas, my friend who also flew over seas, my brother who also attend and her brother also attended . they are all US residents that attended my wedding in Jordan.

Your list is good, the affidavits you are referencing are not required and carry little to no weight.

a copy of your us passport all pages to show stamps, how long have you been married if over a year then you filed your income taxes as married jointly, other than that it looks ok.

we just got married in July so i haven't filed taxes yet. Stamps on passport is good too as i have trips and dates to show that we went to same country for honeymoon and stamps/dated together for entry/exit.

as far as the birthay cards go, remember to send in copies, bc most likely you won´t get the originals back!

Right ! i am gonna copy the wholte packet as suggested as i do realize that ! i do wana keep the original birthday and christmas cards..etc !!
