The email is telling you that you will receive your NoA1 soon. This means that they received your submission and it's now in queue to be reviewed and adjudicated.

Since it's an "EAC" number, then you're being processed by vermont service center... If current trends continue, that means you have a 5-6 month wait before your case is even looked at and reviewed.

Welcome to the club! You're gonna love the months of waiting with absolutely no word as to what's going on with your petition!

EAC mean it is being reviwed by VSC and under review means they will be processing it within the waiting period. If there are no RFE then you should be approved within several months.

Thankyou for the replys, So IF its taking about 6 months before they even look at it, does that mean it will be about another 6 months before its approved? How does everyone cope with being seperated from there loved ones? SHe is back in brazil since June 25, 2012. This is very sad process and i dont understand why it takes so long.

By being EXTREMELY patient and learning to accept that there's not much we can do about it but wait, and to try and keep telling ourselves (and our loved ones) that it will eventually all be worth the wait.

I agree though, that the unnecessarily long process sucks balls.
