Got my first letter, form I-797c. I thought it would be cooler or more spectacular somehow. I'm confused cuz I thought it would mean I get a number to check the status. I don't see anything like that. What point do you have to get the number to check on their website?

Your receipt number is at the top of the page, on the left side. You can use that to check your status.

It should begin with EAC or WAC

03/21/2011: Met Online

07/03/2011: Met in Manila for the first time

01/29/2012: Met in Manila for the second time

03/09/2012: Mailed I-129F

03/12/2012: I-129F Delivered

03/15/2012: NOA1

09/28/2012: NOA2

10/15/2012-10/16/2012: Medical at St. Luke's-PASSED!

10/25/2012: Interview-APPROVED!

10/31/2012: Visa received

Thanks! You think they'd write that somewhere on the form. Now how do I hit a fast forward button to get to this NOA1 thing?

What form?

If what you're talking about is the first notice of action you've received, that IS your NOA1 and that number should be on it.

Yeah my NOA1, I just realized that as I was looking at timelines. I was like damn I still need that. This is going to take a long #### time, I wonder if I can claim disability on emotional stress of waiting for a government agency. I'm sure it's been done.

Does your NOA1 have a EAC or WAC number? Your timeline shows Texas as your service center, but Texas does not process K1 visas. You need to change it to either Vermont (EAC) or California (WAC).
