NOA2 Status at Vermont ... FYI

I just called since I got my 3 service requests and they basically say nothing.. Got transferred to NVC and Officer Maldonado answered.... Real cool.. He confirmed that my case was indeed in Vermont and not in Texas like the other clown told me. He said that unfortunately Vermont has the same staff and has been getting slammed with larger workload. He also said that although the uscis site hasn't been updated and still shows 5months its taking more like 6.5 months. So all good.. He said my docs seem all inorder and I would have gotten an RFE by this point. So don't know if its all bullshit but at least I feel good I got an answer.. :dance:

02-08-2012 -- Married

02-22-2012 -- I-130 sent(separately for wife and stepdaughters)

02-27-2012 -- Received NOA1 email for all 3 i130s

02-29-2012 -- Touched

03-05-2012 -- I-130 NOA1 physically received in the mail

09-17-2012 -- I-130 NOA2 approved

09-24-2012 -- NVC received

09-25-2012 -- Case # received; Exchanged emails; IIN # received

Great to know that Officer Maldonado is telling you something that most of us already know.... They are "backed up" "case load" and all the other BS they saying to those still waiting 190+ days and still nothing I think we figure that 5 month figure was turning to 6.5 since they are working on Jan, and feb still...

Thank for the update though nice to know you got some type of answer on your case...

hmmmm..yes they told me the same thing...and that if I was to get RFE I would have already gotten it by now coz so much time has passed...pssssssssssssssssssssssssh :blink: No they just haven t seen mine yet to decide if I have RFE or pass it on up to NVC for approval. At least they are trying to keep our hopes up :thumbs:

According to the timelines posted here on VISA JOURNEY it looks like they are processing March and April now? Is that a skewed number? We called today and were told the 5 month wait stat. Man, this is crazy. I am SO glad I don't work for the USCIS - I'd kill myself. HAHA

I just called again and filed 3 service requests... They are apparently working on March19th.. My theory is if they are so backed up. How come they don't wait to cash the checks. Not like when we have to pay a fee we can send an I.o.u. Incredible.. its like they have me by the @#lls...
