Just Curious when the consulate sends back the Passport via DHL. Does the passport come inside the DONOT OPEN Envelope? For those that got theri visa deliverd via DHL how did ou receive it? did you have to open t he DO NOT OPEN Envelope to get it out??? ive read that if you open the donot open envelope your k1 visa is automatically cancelled.

No, the passport is not inside the Do Not Open Envelope. That makes no sense. Do not open the "Do not open" envelope.

My package came in a shipping envelope that had the do not open package with my passport attached to the outside of the Do Not Open envelope with a rubber band.

It all comes in a yellow DHL envelope, but the passport with the visa attached should be in a separate pocket. It will not be in the sealed envelope. That one has a diagonal cut on the corner and has a warning on it not to open it. So, to summarize, you can open the DHL envelope that everything is delivered in, and you will find your passport, a letter explaining things and telling you not to open that other sealed envelope, and the sealed envelope itself. Do not open that one.

You will need the passport for travelling so the passport could not be in the DO NOT OPEN ENVELOPE! :thumbs:
