Hi ALL,

How long it it taking after you are assigned NVC case number and all fees are paid to complete case and sent off to consulate?

Given there are no issues with the file.

Any July/August filers at NVC

Thanks

After you've paid the AOS and IV fees, you need to send their respective packages. NVC is currently taking around one week to review packages. If they're both accepted, then your case is complete.

The case is only sent to the consulate/embassy AFTER an interview date has been assigned. The time frame to get an interview always varies by country. Some find out within a few days, others have to wait a few weeks.

I hope you got an answer to your question best thing to do is make friends with others whom are a step ahead of you. They are probably the best indicator of process times. One thing to keep in mind during Ramadan and did things are going to be going slow. This will only add to the time frame compared to others. I looked up time lines to detect a trend but the data available by filters is incomplete and inconsistencies are to great.

Why is ramdan will slow things down ???

I have read this on the board and also a embassy operator said during summer more applications come for student visa and modified work hours and people tend to take time off for eid perpetration.

It's taking ONE MONTH from the time you send in IV package to case complete. This doesn't even include WAIT for interview spot to become available.

I guess all the fees we pay is not enough to hire quality help.:wacko:

That's an incorrect time frame. NVC is taking just one WEEK to review packages. If both packages have been received and accepted, then a case is complete.

YOU NEED TO READ FORM FORMS BEFORE MAKING A STATEMENT. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EXAMPLES NEXT TO POST SOMETHING. AND I AM TALKING ABOUT CURRENT VJ'S WHO HAVE APPLIED RECENTLY.
