I suggest putting the two passport photos in a small ziploc bag. Then staple the bag to a plain, white sheet of paper. Then paperclip the package together and put it inside a manila envelope (with your case number and name on it). Then put that envelope inside the mailing envelope.

1.Write beneficiary's case number,name,birth date on the back of the photo.

2.put two passport photos into a small plastics bag with a tab writing the case number

3.Then use a paper clip to click the bag on the top of my all supporting documents.

my packet:

1.the first page was IV bard-code cover sheet

2.use a paper clip to group DS230 form-4 pages together.

4.Then another paper clip to group-photos,birth certificate original(using a remover-able tab writing case number)+photocopy(write case number at right top of the page), marriage certificate original+photocopy.

passport bio- data page photocopy

police certificate

There is no right way to do it. Just be organized. I also suggest the small plactic bags for the pictures and labeling them on the back. I used paperclips for everything and just used the post office envelope. Try not to overthink everything. Just triple check that all the documents are present and that nothing is left blank!

Don't forget the cover page!

Never send originals unless you are asked. You should bring originals to the interview really.

K1 Visa Process -> 12/09-06/10 Married -> 09/10/10 AOS Process -> 09/10-12/10 Removal of Conditions-> 09/12-07/13

U.S. Naturalization -> 7/8/20

For IR-1/CR-1 applicants, originals ARE needed.

Proof: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3195.html (first paragraph on the page)

You were a K1 applicant, which is a completely different process.

Yes, you need to include the originals as well as photocopies. The purpose of the photocopies is so that they can have a copy for their records thus returning the originals to you at the interview.

Yes yes send the originals. This is very important. They also want copies of all the documents so send originals plus copies.

The DS-230 is the Immigrant Visa Application form. Are you perhaps thinking about the DS-3032? The Choice of Agent form?

Gotta be careful with the numbers. They're similar, but are two very different forms.

Sending originals and copies of the marriage and birth cercificates. Should I do the same for police report?

I have two sets of originals anyway, second set to take with me to interview just in case...

No need to send a photocopy of the police report. You don't get the original back at the interview.
