Okay my brain has stopped functioning and I am in the mindless abyss. Okay for IR1/CR1 Visa Applications once an interview date is secured the beneficiary and petitioner get the official letter and can now schedule the medical, Correct? Than what we are just waiting for interview date? Why is their a Packet 3 and Packet 4 for I-130 on my timeline? Sorry I just am sick today and mind numb.

Yes you have to schedule your medicals once you know your interview date

The packet 3 is mainly how to get you medicals done and anything you need to get done ( well as it is for K1)

The packet 4 is your interview date letter

Thank you sweetie. I should know this. I have gone brain dead. Was just reading about DS-156, DS-156K, OF-167 and I-693. I think thats all K1 stuff who knows.

I gather when time comes email will come with all this for husband to print and off he goes.

Just too much in the head.

to 'maintain data here', though - there's gotta be enough 'common columns' for the database, to make 1 row of data, K-1, CR-1 or otherwise.

I've never stepped into any discussions of 'data normalization' for these things - to the best of my knowledge these data elements map back 1:1 to Igor's List's Data Elements.

Does he get a physical packet mailed to him from the Embassy with documentation to go for his medical or can we download the paperwork online and get started as soon as we have an interview date?

okay first of all DONT wait for NVC to email you, ALWAYS keep calling for;

- For CASE COMPLETE

- For INTERVIEW DATE

- As for the Medicals the Embassy will Email him on where to get his medicals done ( i think)

As i can remember when i went through the K1 process, the embassy emailed me my interview letter after i sent them an email asking if i have a date yet, they also emailed the medical packet to me on where to get my medicals done. i didn't need to download it because the hospital already has the packet with them..... i just went to the hospital with my Passport, two passport photographs and my interview letter.

Just a bit different for spousal Visa we get email from NVC. Case doesn't leave NVC until we have interview date than the packets come.

I totally understand how u feel... but let us wait till the end of the week..... I didn't understand what teir 2 said about sending off on july 10, one person says smething today ad aother person says something different tomorrow. totally messed up system
