How long between NOA1 and NOA 2?

Curious: To an earlier question I posed on this forum somebody who seemed very knowledgeable said that it would take about 180 days between the date I received the NOA 1 and the date my fiancee received her visa, approximately six months barring problems or delays. If it requires five months between the NOA 1 and the NOA 2 it seems unlikely that the rest of the process would be wrapped up in only one month.

depends.. Like now if your in VSC.. you never know since they are kinda slow lately.. If you are in CSC you are lucky.. It depends on delays and other problem that may occur.. We are turning 6months of waiting next month.. and all i can do is wait goodluck guys..

Yes, thank you. That's the sense I have of it. I talked to one couple where the entire process took only 6 months and another that took 19 months even though there was nothing wrong with their application, nothing they had to submit again, it still dragged on forever. I guess I just have to wait and see.

CSC - California Service Center, missed that. I filed from Washington State. I think I had to send it to Texas. I assume it is being processed on the West coast.

5 months is the average as of now so is typical. Some can be approved sooner or later. Generally, it should not take longer than 7 months. Correct, anywhere between 6-9 months or more is a more realistic timeline from sending the petition to arrival in the states.

It is difficult to say why one's case would take 19 months without knowing details. Even 12 months is too long. There is usually no reason for this. If a petition approval has not been decided by the end of 7 months, it is safe to say that something is amiss and a local congressman would need to get involved to bring attention to the matter.
