It has been over a month since my the NVC received my case, I paid my fees and they are waiting on my I-864 packet. I haven't been able to send it because of my Job Agency. They are a temp agency and I have been working with them for 2 months now and I was being paid $11 hourly, helping me meet the poverty guidelines. A month ago I found out that they lowered my pay rate to $9.40 and that they made a mistake on my W4(set me as filing single when I'm married) They fixed my W4 so my current paystubs show Im married but my pay rate hasn't been fixed. They apologized for their mistake and took a month to fix it, but didn't fix anything. All they managed to do was pay me for my correct pay for my last 3 checks but haven't corrected my pay rate on my paystub. I know it's confusing but they say that my paystubs will show my pay rate at $9.40 but every week I will get 2 seperate payments( 1st payment at $9.40 for 40 hours a week, 2nd payment will be what is owed to me since I should be payed $11. I don't understand why the can't just change my pay rate. I am tired of dealing with them. They wrote me a letter stating that I'm making $11 HOURLY but won't sign it. I am so fustrated because I don't know how to put my packet together anymore. I don't want to write all this letters explaining my situation and them rejecting me. I have no one who can sponsor me. Does anyone know how to go about this?

You have plenty to sumbit your paystub has year to date right. The last one that showed your hourly rate at the $11 submit and submit the letter. they can always call the employer (and they do sometimes). Get those off now. You can even enclose the letter of the mistake buut get those paystubs and stuff to them now to get your baby home.

Okay breathe (I know its frustrating. I am dealing with my own NVC mess). ;-)

You have plenty to sumbit your paystub has year to date right. The last one that showed your hourly rate at the $11 submit and submit the letter. they can always call the employer (and they do sometimes). Get those off now. You can even enclose the letter of the mistake buut get those paystubs and stuff to them now to get your baby home.

Send it now who knows when they will fix it and you are just delaying. It's not like you have to submit every single one. the last one just one because its year to date is fine and attach your employment letter.

Well the last employment letter stated im making $9.40 which doesn't meet the guidelines that's why

Well the letter is optional they paystubs show what you make send that. You can write your own letter and state the HR or whoever person as if you have any questions call susie Q HR manager at . I have read where some have written there own stated Title, hourly or yearly salary and you are full time. <BR><BR>Also as I have read I had also calculated my annual pay wrong also its Hourly X 40 X 52=<BR><BR>I had cheated myself out of $5440. man Edited July 26, 2012 by dwheels76

Even if you get in two separate checks it should not be a problem, you can add them up.

At the end of the day you are making the money equal to two paychecks together.
