Civil Surgeons in Northern California

I was wondering if anyone knows a cheap CS to do my I-693.. I was a full time student now on OPT and already had my MMR unfortunately school is closed so I won't be able to get my immunization records any time soon.

I was wondering if anyone knows a civil surgeon that does all the vaccines and physical etc. for a cheap price.. I don't really care if I have to travel all over California for it as all the ones I've called wanted to charge me for more than $400.. I was also thinking, is it possible for me to get these vaccines at a local health center for cheaper and just show it to the CS so they could just do the physical, blood work and stuff.

Thank you very much

I called a few CS in San Diego (chula Vista) and they would charge between $120 and $160. they told me that would cover all the tests and everything. I do not know what additional fees apply for the vaccines as mine are all up to date. hope that helps!

thanks for the quick reply. I have another question though.. other than the Vaccines what other tests would I need to do? sorry I'm kinda new to this.. I was just on the phone with another CS and she said it'll cost me $150 for everything without the Vaccines.. so I called my health center and they told me they'd charge me $35 for the vaccines and I could just probably give the proof to the CS.. is that reasonable enough? ..

Thank you again.

Try Dr. Ringwald - www.immigrationdoctor.com - she's in Sacramento. My husband had his I-693 done there along with a tetanus shot and it cost us about $225, as I recall.

They do a blood test and a PPD (tb) test. That should be included in the fee for the I-693. Some will do a titer (for an extra charge) to verify you have had the required vaccines. If you don't have immunization records, you will either have to have the titer or get new vaccines.

Hello, my fiance just had his medical done with Dr. Ringwald in Sacramento yesterday. She charges $175 for the office visit which includes, the forms, TB skin test, blood test for syphilis. If you need shots or a chest xray those are extra. My fiance being an adult with no vaccination records needed Tetanus $50, MMR $80 and Varicella $100 (I would suggest that you "remember" having chicken pox to avoid this one). Our total was $405, very nice and reasonable compared to others. And I was able to get an appt within one week!! You can have your immunizations done elsewhere and bring the records however if cheaper!!

Good luck...
