Correction on Birth cert. NBI clearance and CENOMAR affected?

hey guys its late here in the Philippines now but Im still up and damn WORRIED upon knowing that corrections on birth certificate could mean I will need to have my NBI clearance and CENOMAR have my previously misspelled name and my corrected name on them. I have heard I could get a 221g on my interview if I will only bring an NBI clearance and CENOMAR under my CORRECTED NAME. Things like that here in PI aren't that easy.. Employees in gov't offices can be very mean and bastards sometimes so I have no idea what to do. Can someone who had the same situation before help me?

In getting NBI clearance, can I request for a clearance having my corrected name together w/ aka my previously misspelled name? ex. jane cruz aka jean cruz?

About the CENOMAR, i made an inquiry online a while ago and they told me it wasnt possible to have a CENOMAR w/ aka on it. So what should I do? should I request for two copies? One w/ my corrected name and one w/ my uncorrected name?

Oh boy, I need help badly!!! Im freaking out though we just had our petition approved... I just dont want to have any delays coz we've been waiting to be w/ each other for years!!! so a few delays will be very UPSETTING!! :help: :help: :help:

I have correction on my Birth Certificate too and I requested to have an AKA on my NBI Clearance, I filled up the application form at NBI but the girl ignored my AKA so I told her right after she typed all my infos that I need to put AKA on my clearance then I wait 10days to pick it up.. some says they get theirs done in same day but mine is 10 days. In CENOMAR no need to put an AKA there.. just your correct name...

>>>> As far as i know Cenomar will be check according to your date of birth and name or your parents so if you applied for 2 diff. Cenomar, still you will be given the same name spelled in your BC.

Yes you can get an NBI with your corrected name and with an AKA. About the CENOMAR, as they are not issuing with AKA on it, your NSO copy of birth certificate with the annotated correction will do. Just my opinion.

anyways, what only bothers me a lot is the delay that it may cause :( ... samewith the one who post this topic.. we wanna know if we provide everything in the interview like nbi with AKA and cenomar of previous name just to make sure that consul will be satisfied on the documents we bring, and never ask for a new nbi again  .. just in case someone here share his experience about having a corrected BC and bring all the needed documents in which it didnt cause any delay.. because what if the consul will not honor the nbi with AKA that we have coz some people in the govt are mean and making a big issue about some matter on which it was already fix and sometimes if we already provide the documents they still want to request using their request form or whatever.. :bonk:

Hi sis, so u also had a name correction on your birth cert? My case is my name was just misspelled. Im not aware before that it will be an issue on my interview. I juts tried searching and reading posts here about it that why I found out. As far as I know you dont have to worry if you already have an NBI w/ aka and a separate cenomar on each names. Those who were in the same situation as ours got a 221g for not having those docs at the interview. On what I've read they say CO's only wanna make sure that we haven't used our previous uncorrected name on marriages or illegal acts in the past. So dont worry about iot. Just be prepared and \keep praying. :)
