Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 15, 2012
Embassy Review : Came at USEM at 5.45 am for my 7.30 appointment. Was inside the USEM at about 7am..

Was done at fingerprint scan at 8.30am.

My number flashed for filipino pre interviewer at 9.30.. Asked for my NSO birth cert, NBI, CENOMAR, my fiance\'s I-134, Recent 1040 and 1099.. She asked to see our photos too. I have made a portfolio of evidence of relationship and evidence of meeting w/in 2 years but she didn\'t asked for it. The interviewer was really polite and nice. It was like she\'s just having a small chit chat w/ me.

Questions are:

Name of petitioner
his age and bday
his address
his work
how did he get to the US
was he married before, when did they broke up, does he have kids? how many and what are their ages?
when and how did we met
when did we actually became a couple
how many times have he visited me
when was the last time I saw my fiance

after that she said she wish other applicants were like me coz my papers are complete and organized. And she wished me good luck and I was told to be sitted again. I was so happy and thanked her for like 4x?? lol.

Waited for my number again and it flashed at 10.45. -interview w/ the american consul.

She was a sweet and nice lady at about early 30\'s. Questions are:

Name of my fiance
his age bday and address
was he a filipino born and raised in the US?
Did he studied here in the Phil? what course?
Whats his job?
When and how did you meet?
So tell me how the two of you became a couple?
How many times did he visited you?

Then she said, \"okay just a few more verifications\" and checked some of my dcouments. Then finally she told me, \"okay ma\'am I\'m approving your visa!\" I thanked her and she asked, So, have you started planning your wedding?\" I said not yet, maybe we\'ll just start tomorrow.. and she laughed. she congratulated me again and I was told to wait again for my number. I thanked for like 4x too. hehe..

My number flashed again at 11.20 and the guy a the 2go window told me to wait for 2go\'s text so i can pick up my visa. I was out of the embassy at 11.30am!!

Thank God we\'re done!!! and thank you vj pals who helped us out w/ this entire process. my documents will not be that organized if not for VJ. thank you and good luck everyone!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
