I'm getting everything I need together for my fiancée, but how do you guys get your case number?

And how do you know when the nvc is received or sent?

I'm a little confused, if someone that has gone through the Mexico process can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

Congrats on the NOA2! Give it about 10 days and call The National Visa Center to get your new case number and an update on your status. Good luck on your continued journey :)

Actually, I would give it longer than 10 business days to reach the NVC. Our petition was approved on June 15 from CSC and it still isn't in the NVC system as of this morning when I called. I was told to send a scan via email so they can research its status since it's past 15 business days, but I will plan on calling the NVC again at the end of the week to follow up again.
