how long does k1 visa process take?

how long does it take to get the NOA2?

how long does it take to get an appointment for an interview in the US embassy?

do we have to call and follow up if we still dont have our NOA2 at the estimated day/time?

  • The K-1 process takes around 6-8 months.
  • It should take around 5 months from NOA1-2.
  • Each embassy has it's own timelines- check yours.
  • You can call and follow up with USCIS but I believe if you are within 60 days of when you are expected to have of had your NOA2 they will tell you that you are within normal processing times.
