 i just got off phone with my fiancee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my fiancee received visa today!!!!!!!!! yepee~!!!!!

this would not have been possible without all your help!!!!!

thank you thank you thank you all~~!!!!!!

she got to the embassy at 8:30am and went inside without waiting although there was a long line outside.

i guess k-1 visa applicant is treated differently than other visa applicants.

she took a number and waited. then submitted paperwork when they called her number.

waited again. finally after long waiting she finally had her interview.

CO said that paperwork is in order and needed to ask some questions like.. when we first met.. where we first met.. what my hobbies are.. what we did when i last visited her in korea last winter.. etc.

CO basically asked some questions and that was it. my fiancee told me it was like talking to someone at friend's party. some questions and small talk.. that was it.

i thought consulate in korea was one of tough ones but i guess not!!!!

at the end of interview CO told her she will receive her visa through DHL the next day.

finally after almost 6 months of waiting we can be together.

now time to prepare for another trip to korea.

can't wait to see her again.. i'mma travel to korea at the end of march and come back to the states with her together..

again, thank you all!!!!!!

quick and easy!

congrat

Congratulations! As some one who just started the process it's nice to see that someone's at the light at the end of the tunnel!

All the best to you both!

And so he did what countless punk-rock songs had told him to do so many times before: he lived his life

10/07/2006 WEDDING DAY!

11/14/2006 AOS packet made it to 'the box' after being overnighted.

12/02/2006 Paul had biometrics

12/14/2006 AOS Forwarded to CSC AND AP Application approved.

01/17/2007 First touch of 2007 at CSC

01/20/2007 Touched AGAIN (also the 18th) come on...

February: Oops, RFE for a REGISTERED marriage certificate. Oops! Overnighted it.

02/28/2007 Paul gets email letting us know his GREENCARD is on it's way! It's done...for now!

03/09/2007 Paul's greencard arrives. And breathe...

We began with mailing the I-129 in on February 27, 2006 so the whole process took us approx. one year.

Good luck out there!
