Can you apply yes… can you be approved for tourist visa yes—practically chances of getting approved are normally low.

You never know until you apply, so apply and see how it goes. No one can answer this question to 100% accuracy.

that is really good to know... i will talk to my husband about it... the only reason is I want my daughter to see her daddy and so that we're reunited again even for 6 months only and come back.. I would really be happy.

that's what the k-3 visa is all about..it's a non immigrant visa for a cr1 beneficiary who has a pending petition with the uscis to visit his or her spouse while the petition is still pending but from my research so far it's been phased out since they all require filing a petition and the waiting time are almost thesame with the i-130 petition. it used to be effective then when the other stays longer like 9-12months but not now anymore since they hv improved on the waiting time and limited to 5months max. i doubt if the consular will grant a tourist visa bcos that's a total different class of non immigrant visa that's always clashing with the immigrant visa K-3 is the non immigrant visa type for someone in your class..I AM IN THESAME BOAT WITH YOU AND MISSING MY WIFE SO MUCH BUT THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO BUT TO JUST WAIT. U CAN TRY THE K-3 NON IMMIGRANT VISA. GOOD LUCK
