The date on the NOA1 was July 6! I think its being send to california service center (thats what it said on the bottom of the noa1). Now its waiting! Hopefully for a noa2 and not a rfe first..

We read the instructions on VJ very carefully so lets hope the best :)

Nat and I are also June filers. It is going to be so difficult waiting. It has only been a little over a month now and it seems like it is taking forever already. I did a lot of reading and research before filing so I hope that everything is in order and goes without any problems. We spent a lot of extra time double and triple checking everything.

I'm going back for her birthday in September and hope that she can be here by the end of the year!

Hi, is that the Dallas Lockbox? We sent our K1 package off on the 20th June and had email NA01 on the 28th June - and have since recieved hard copy. Have you recieved anything yet?

No I sent it to the Lewisville, TX address for couriers and express mail. Today is July 23, and I still have not received notice of whether it was approved, sent back, or what not. I sent a postal money order, and had to go pay $5 dollars to put a trace on it to see if it was cashed, and that takes a couple of days.

We sent ours in on May 30th, it got to TX and was charged to my account on the 6th. We had a peek into our account on the 8th, nothing has been done with it since and no RFI has been sent either. We are with the CA office for filing though.

The worst part is not hearing anything, checking every day, and hoping that it will happen. I am on deployment now and when I return on 15SEP12 I hope that she will be approved, there, and waiting for me. I know this is a long shot since the approval est. time is five months but I can dream, cant i? My heart goes out to all of those who are waiting let us hope we are lucky and our stuff gets processed a bit faster.

06JUN12 - Forms Received by the office

07JUN12 - NOA1 Received

08JUN12 - Peek

27JUN12 - Called office to check on acceptance I-797

05AUG12 - Called about information on expedited process

06AUG12 - Submitted form for expedited process

06AUG12 - Got a notification that they needed evidence

06AUG12 - Sent evidence to the fax number provided

07AUG12 - Got a notice that evidence has not been submitted yet

07AUG12 - Called office and was told to resubmit, did so to the same fax number

08AUG12 - Still no status on approval or denial of expedite process.

09AUG12 - Called office and they said wait 15 days before calling to find out about missing RFE in mail.

27AUG12 - NAO2 Received

30AUG12 - NVC Received Package

04SEP12 - NVC Gave us MNL and Case Number

10OCT12 - Singapore Clearance sent to Embassy

19OCT12 - Interview Date ( approved )

I spoke to a customer representative today because I had not heard anything or received anything since I submitted my packet. She gave me my receipt number and said I could check it online...she also told me I probably would be waiting until November...not sure if that is for them to send it to the embassy or to the NVC?? either way it seems like a long time :(

Yeah, it sucks not hearing anything. They said if you dont hear anything after several months I could call to check on it again. I check the website every day to see if they have updated anything ( using my tracking number ) and they have not touched it since the 8th. I hate this because it makes me feel nervous but at the same time it makes me happy because we do not have any RFI yet. Let us hope the best for both of us. My date is being told 17th October at this point... but again those numbers change daily.

Best to focus on the documentation that is needed for the interview.

Hi folks. I'm just checking in. We're approaching 2 months. Sim is still here until August 20th, but we're both starting to realize how very little time that is. This will probably be the last time we see eachother until we're approved. Super depressing, but hopefully we'll be back together within 6 months. After everything else, we can make it 6 months no problem.

I have been regularly checking the uscis website and there is no update. No touching either. No RFEs, which is good, but since they haven't touched it since 06/11/2012 that means nothing.

Waiting is super hard.

I just keep hoping to be one of those freak petitions that gets processed in like 2 months.

At least we are still together for now. This 3 months together has been GREAT.

riuthamus - How did you hear your date as October 17th?

How do you expedite it????

I'm pretty sure active military members can expedite petitions, I think you just have to call them.
