Embassy Review : My fiancee went to get her interview on the 19th OCT 2012. She passed it with no problem but was still waiting on Singapore to send the paperwork for her clearance. I contacted Singapore police ( which sent the forms registered mail on the 10 OCT 2012 ) and they said to wait till the 22nd. After contacting the embassy daily we finally were notified on the 31 OCT 2012 that she was approved and that the documents were processing. Other women in her batch of people were approved the next day, some of them 3 days later, none of them have taken up to 13 days to send the visa to the 2go office; which according to the ladies on the phone when i call is all that needs to be done. They are "processing". I have explained this is two weeks of waiting and they simply tell me to call back on friday. I call back on friday and they tell me to call back on tuesday. It does not take that long to process the document as I have talked to several people who have worked in embassys doing such work. I have been patient, polite, and understanding but after 12 days of waiting for them to simply send documents to the 2go office I think this is beyond crazy. I am going to be calling them again tomorrow and demanding to speak with a representative. If this gets me nowhere I will purchase a ticket to the PI and go to the Embassy in person. As a service member I am deployable within 5 days notice. If something big was to occur and I was sent out I would miss our deadline and we would have to start the entire process over or attempt to get approved for some waiver ( and knowing my luck with this process it would get denied ). I am at wits end and my fiancee is having a very hard time with this. The worst part is that I can do nothing to make this process work or to help it go along. I am not naive enough to think that I am the only one with this problem but the simple fact is that if they would simply process the documents it would be one less person to deal with. *sigsh* I dont know what else to do and this has really left a bad feeling in my heart about the entire thing.
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
