What comes after initial review ?

My wife applied the (I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN) for me since 8 months and 1 week, she filed everything in the package, and since that time when i check my status it says initial review, so why does it takes too long?

and if anybody know whats comes after the initial review ? I know the request of evidence on of the next options, so what's else ? and is there any chance to reject it?

Have your wife call the USCIS, it should not take that long!

Before the petition is approved, it will say "Initial Review." This changes once the petition is approved to "Post-Decision Activity." The USCIS site will say something like "This I-130 petition has been approved." It is then forwarded to the National Visa Center.

She needs to call. Suggest to her that she ask for an ISO, then find out WITH the ISO what the holdup is.
