What should the length of the how you met section consist of?? Do both of your stories have to be exactly the same (somewhat word for word) or just similiar??

-Met in Ghana August 2011

-Went back to Ghana April 2012

-Went back to Ghana December 2012

-Married to the man God created just for me on January 4th, 2013.

-Filed the CR-1 in February 2013

-Petition Transfered from National Benefits Center to Texas Service Center October 2013

-Petition APPROVED January 2014 (*Took 10 Months 19 Calendar Days)

-Case Number/Invoice Identification Number Assigned February 2014 (*Took 33 Calendar Days)

-Approved Interview May 2014

-Arrival May 2014

Now, We are Prayerfully taking everything 1 day at a time. Thanking God for his blessings and grace.

Are you confusing the marriage affidavit with the section on how you met?

The petitioner writes the answer to the how have you met. You put a couple of sentences thats all. You both don't write this only 1 person does.

You both write an affidavit stating you are free and willing and want to marry in the 90 days. Original signatures on both letters. They do not have to be the same but should include that in the letters.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Yes put the dates you met your fiancee in Ghana and how long you spent together. Not too long.

Both stories on the I-129f? Only one place you tell the story when asked, which is submitted by the US fiance(e). When the foreign fiance(e) has their interview, the officer may ask how/when/where you met and use the i-129f as a reference.

Doesn't have to be lengthy, mention when, where and who. Your initial(primary) evidence will support this.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

I believe you are talking about question 18 on the I-129F, right? I know some people write several pages, but look at the space for the question in the I-129F. If USCIS had expected a whole novel, they would have surely given it more space than three lines, at least that is what I think. We filled the three lines mentioning how and when we met online, and then the dates of when we met in person. That's it. If they do require extra-informaiton, they'll ask.
