Does my fiancé need to send me the original copies of his birth certificate and divorce decree for the embassy interview, or can I just use the photo copies I already have and that we used when we submitted our I 129F?

I think you need to take the original and a copy. They give you back the originals.they want the beneficiary' birth certificate.

Not of the birth certificate (but if he has original copies it won't hurt to have one). I'm pretty sure you need original copies of the divorce decree: however, I think you'll have a better chance of knowing exactly what you need to send, if you ask in the regional part of the forum for Australia & NZ.

There are things that are Embassy specific and you may not need much, other than a regular copy. For example, in Argentina, they accept copies of the taxes and w2s, while in other countries they request that you present the transcripts.
