Yes, it's for Mexican citizen who has TN visa. Has the law changed or why it's not possible anymore?

That post is one lawyer's opinion in 2007. It's not/wasn't a guarantee. And it seems to be more directed at Canadian citizens.

A TN visa holder would need some guidance. That's why the lawyer was posting, to generate some customer traffic. The post mentions "prudent planning" is needed.

Consultation with a qualified immigration attorney would likely be money well spent.

That website is an f'ing mess and makes no sense. I guess they are talking about someone who is working on a TN visa and has another way of obtaining LPR status, but even that is problematic.

You can't get a GC through a TN. In fact, you don't qualify for a TN if you have the intent to immigrate to the U.S. Sorry.

It wasn't the law to begin with. That site is a mess and makes no sense and is wrong. You can't immigrate on a TN visa.
