Yeah it happens. Most people have to pick them up but time to time they send the results over. It would make sense for them to always do this and save people the trip.

They told my fiance that they are starting to do this now. I don't think anyone recently has had to go and pick up the results. I was worried at first as well because I was used to people picking up their results before the interview and I was worried that something would happen and they wouldn't send it on time. On the day of our interview I asked the lady at the first window where we had to turn in our documents if they received the medical exam results and she said yes. I also asked if this was normal and she said it is what they started doing more consistently recently to save people time and it is better for them because some people lose or damage their documents and it causes problems.
