Embassy Review : OMG, this was the longest day of my life. My hunni and I got up at 3, showered and got ready. We reached the Embassy at 4. We were 2nd in line. Buscones was so determined but I paid them no mind. The line got so long and around 6:30 ish they separated the men and women and we got in. When I walked in I looked at my fiance and smiled cuz we saw the metal benches. There was one section that had cushions on it and we sat on in but they announced on the speaker where we need to sit so we moved. Our number was 115. We started getting nervous because it was the real deal now. They called us up to window 22 to give our documents. They were speaking spanish, and I said I speak english, so they asked a few questions like, if this is my fiance's first marriage and than we went to window 16 to pay $80. Than they said for us to have a seat. At about an hour and a half they called us to window 13 for his fingerprint, than they told us to have a seat. around 11:30 they called us to window 17, I was so happy because it was going faster than I thought. When we got there, a man greeted us in spanish and I said Im sorry but I dont speak spanish, and he looked at me kinda strange, than he sworn us in and he started typing and said, "my collegue will call u soon." Im like huh? what happened? Anyway we did as he said and we sat down. The next person he called up had gotten approved and im like, why did he do that to us? my fiance got us coffee and a sandwich to keep us up. Also there was a pigeon that kept flying across the room over and over, lol. Anyway everyone that came after us were getting approved or denied and we r sitting like, did they forget about us? At 3:00, I got up and spoke to a guy that had info on his back. Im like is it normal for us to sit there and no one call us after all this time, and he said yes. Than I went to window 17 @ 3:30 and I told the guy, Im sorry but was something wrong cuz no one has called us yet, he said Im sorry, they must be running behind, but they will call u. Im like ok. There was about 9 groups of people left plus us makes 10. At around 4:10 they call our number to window 11 (investigation room) I got so nervous but I prayed during the whole time. As I walk in the room, they took my fiance in a room and started the questions. As they were ending the questions, I heard my fiance laughing and joking around with the guy, and than they told him to have a seat and they told me to come in and I did, and they guy was questioning me in a joking matter, so I went along with it. The questions were: How did we meet?
what airline did I take, who picked me up, wat gift have I brought for him, and wat color is my toothbrush? Than he said have a seat out front again. When we got out there there was no one there, lol. We were the first and and became the last to leave. While we sat down I questioned my fiance on the questions and we did great. They called us back to window 17 and the guy said, sorry for the wait, ur interview was perfect, and u got approved, go to domex and pay. I jumped, kissed my hunni and ran to domex. I paid them and we were outta there. It took us the whole day but the result was worth it.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
